Just when you thought the weather could not be worse than last week it was worse.
A severe thunderstorm greeted the day with an inch of rain falling before the meet
even began. The morning events were shot in a strong wind between rainstorms.
The afternoon met with even more rain. Rain, lightning, hail and the prospect of even more severe weather caused the afternoon handicap event to be cancelled. To the best of anyone's knowledge this is the first time an ECTC event was cancelled due to weather. Pictures are from practices before the meet and do not reflect the weather of the day.
